Varsity vs ROCKFORD HIGH SCHOOL (10 - 8) Win The Lady Laker Lacrosse team traveled to Rockford on Friday evening and rolled home with a 10-8 victory over the Rams. In what was a tightly contested game throughout, the Lakers strong defense and timely scoring was the factor in the win. Leading the Lakers in goals was Aubrey Llewellyn with a season high of 5. Ava Lisman added two goals while Brooke Stephenson, Micah Gawronski, and Charlotte Murphy added single goals. Gawronski was dynamite running the offense and added 5 assists. Charlie VanHarken, Emily Riemersma, and Mallory Martinez all stood out on the defensive end. With the win, the Lakers improve to 6-2 on the season. Next up for the Lakers is a home contest on Monday vs Grand Rapids Northview. Game starts at 7pm.
