Lakers Finish 4th at D3 State Meet At the Holland Aquatic Center, the Spring Lake Laker put the finishing touches on a great and memorable season with a Team Goal achievement of a fourth-place finish at the 2026 MHSAA D3 State Swimming and Diving Championships. Despite a couple of hiccups, the Lakers had a banner weekend in the pool. Not only did they bring home a well-earned trophy and many medals, but they also brought back many great memories and found how strong their character is and how they fight back through life’s many obstacles and distractions. The Lakers did that and more! This group of amazing young men not only made the Coaching Staff and their families/friends proud, but also made the entire community of Spring Lake Proud! Alex also joined this teammate to make more school history by helping WIN the 200 Free Relay in 1:26.03 with Dane Trask-Russell, Cherney, and Graham Porter, earning All-State Honors. Lakers swam to 12 Personal Record Swims in the Finals and a two-day total of 30 Personal Record Swims. Lakers Finished with 10 All-State Swims.
