The Spring Lake Lakers season came to an end with a 58-46 loss to the Fruitport Trojans in the District Championship. Fruitport led from start to finish and were in control the whole game."Congratulations to Coach Steve Erny and his team, tonight they really took it to us from the jump ball, they deserved tonight's District Championship! I am very proud of our team as we never quit and played to the final horn as Kashton George hit a shot at the buzzer. We did our best and never quit." Max Feltner led the Laker offense with 14 points while Maddux Kipling added 9 points and 9 rebounds. "Sadly we have to say goodbye to seven special seniors! I am so proud of the leadership they provided and the type of people they are, their future is bright. When the dust clears they can look back a remember the mark they left on Spring Lake Basketball."
