Congratulations, Spring Lake Lakers Swimmers, who competed this weekend at the 2026 MISCA Swimming and Diving Meet hosted by the Michigan Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association @ Calvin University.   With a 120-team range, from Division 1-2-3, Spring Lake was among 10 D#3 Schools represented.  The MISCA Meet features some of the top swimmers/divers in the State of Michigan from D 1-2-3. Despite some seasonal illnesses, the Lakers swim against some of the Top Swimmers in the State of Michigan. Lakers swam four Personal Record Swims, three new updated State Cut Times, and four Top 16 Finishes.   Coaches were very proud of how our guys stepped up to the challenges of faster swimmers and pushed themselves through those challenging races. I am Proud of them for what they gave today! That is all we can ever ask of them. Give us what you have today! This was a great learning and training meeting for us. It lets us know what we need to fine-tune and what we need to crank up before the OK Lakeshore Conference Meet at the end of the month. It is also encouraging to see practical applications being developed and used in races. Now it is time to get back to work on Monday and get ready to battle with Holland Christian on Tuesday.
