Freshman vs Holland Christian Schools (21 - 33) Loss The freshman Lady Lakers traveled to Holland on Friday afternoon and unfortunately came home with their first loss of the season. The Lakers played tough and played sound defense to keep them in the game, but the Maroons from Holland Christian had an answer for the Lakers most of the game. Leading the Lakers in scoring was Ayla Jonker with 7 points. Kenz Jones added 5 points while Sierra Lukas had 4 points. Rounding out the scoring was Ashlee Britton with 3 points and Izzy Christian added 2 points and did a nice job of attacking the relentless defense from the Maroons. Next up for Lakers is a home contest against Hamilton on Thursday. Tip off time is 5pm.
