Manistee79 After two long weeks of challenging workouts, bad weather, sickness/injuries, the Spring Lakers pulled together, stepped up, and captured another SL Swim & Dive Invitational Championship. Despite being down six team members, the Lakers swam and dove to 34 Personal Records, won 6/12 events, and had 7 New D3 State Cuts! Leading the way for the Lakers was Junior Graham Porter with 3 New State Cuts in the 50 Free 22.64, 100 Free 50.19, and 100 Fly 56.63. Senior Alex Strauss added two New State Cuts in the 200 IM 2:10.24, 100 Back 58.26, and MISCA Cut in the 50 Free with a 23.21. Teaming up with Alex and Graham in the 200Free Relay with a State Cut of 1:32.17, Russell Cherney and Patrick Goran. In the 400 Free Relay, with a State Cut, were Graham Porter, Wesley Mazurek, Kevin Dahl, and Alex Strauss.
